Guerrilla Theatre was founded by a group of friends in 2013.
Our mission is to bring enrichment to East Atlanta and neighboring areas through highly accessible plays performed at low cost. We hope to produce quality entertainment and provide opportunities for people of all ages to grow and learn about the many aspects of drama.
Our shows so far are:
Fall 2013: “A Midsummer Nights Texas Sized Nightmare”
Summer 2014: “Dearly Departed”
BATL 2014: “Letters Home” and “Went With The Wind”
Fall 2015: “The Love of Three Oranges”
East Atlanta Village Guerrilla Theater (EAVGT) brings vibrant theatrical productions to the East Atlanta Village. We create the opportunity for the community to attend and participate in quality entertainment encompassing a cross-section of the finest theatrical works available in a variety of genres. Our events are a creative outlet and we will also contribute to the development and well-being of the community and its residents. We provide education in the theater arts and encourage involvement of children and adults in performances, workshops, community enrichment, and charitable events. EAVGT is a new thread in the creative tapestry of East Atlanta Village. As active community members, we also strive to give back to a neighborhood that has given so much to us by supporting charitable organizations through partnerships, donations, or hands-on involvement. As we continue to grow in our theatrical endeavors, both through original content and well-loved plays, we look forward to our involvement in the East Atlanta Village arts community.
